As of 2021, Pinterest is the 14th
largest social media platform with 459 million active users each month.
Pinterest is a valuable curated content source for 2Degrees when content is needed on its digital platforms. An example of this content can be seen in Figure 3, the post curated by a Pinterest user links to an infographic on the differences between the 2G, 3G, 4G and 5G Mobile Data Networks. This information is relevant and in-line with 2Degrees buyer persona, and directly answers a common question its consumers may ask. Pinterest pins are readily accessible and can be shared to social media platforms such as Facebook or Instagram or directly copied and pasted onto any social media channel.

2Degrees could utilize BuzzFeed’s quizzes to engage with its consumers, as seen in Figure 5, the quiz is relevant as it is focused around mobile devices, a particular interest and hobby our target personas are wanting to read about. Another example of curated content that could be shared by 2Degrees is pictured in Figure 4, an article was written about a common problem users have on a day to day basis such as a low battery percentage on your phone. These curated contents sources are valuable as they are relevant and in line with the target personas for 2Degrees and can be easily shared by clicking on the relevant social media platforms icon.
